Describe Yourself:
I was born in Georgia and raised in Alabama. I was a certified Consumer Credit Counselor for a National non-profit organization in Savannah, GA for 26 years before moving to San Antonio, TX in 2000. I am the mother of four grown children and grandmother to five. I am an active member of Community Bible Church in San Antonio, an ordained Minister and recently received certification as a Pastoral Counselor.

On Gather, I'm Looking For ...:
people ready to let go of their control and allow God to change their lives. I am looking for people to share their experiences and testimonies.
My new book "Finally Broken" is born out of personal experiences—from child abuse, spousal abuse, multiple marriages, and addiction to alcohol and prescription drugs—that I encountered throughout my lifetime.
Never admitting to having it all together, but using my own personal struggle as a way for readers to relate, my book invites readers to bring order to their own existence by inviting God's control over every segment of their lives. The content is raw and honest, and offers help and hope to those who wonder if they have out-sinned God's grace, or if their life circumstances have set them aside from being used by God.
Is there a way back? Having reached the point of being Finally Broken, God has inspired the writing of my life so that those who do not know Him in the fullness of His power might believe and trust Him when all other resources they sought have failed.
